2008-09-05Hi everyone,
MSN Virus Info Gatherer will be down from 5/9/2008 8:45PM GMT+9:30 until 14/09/2008.
This is due to me taking a much needed break to catchup on University work and to free up some time to make a few large changes to MSN Photo Virus Remover and MSN Virus Info Gatherer.
An update should be available for MSN Photo Virus Remover in the next 72 hours.
Sorry for any inconveniance cause by this.

2008-07-19Today we had a short outage, of about 30 minutes due to running into our monthly bandwidth usage. Alas, within minutes of reporting this to our host, Servers Australia, they responded by fixing the issue for us - giving us more bandwidth.
I cannot stress how much we appreciate our host, and how much effort they have gone to, to assure that MSNVirusRemoval.com and other MiCCAS.net projects are kept live and kicking. I can safely say that without Servers Australia, and the staff, the thousands of people who have downloaded our tool around the world would not have access to our FREE tool.
So, once again - thank you VERY much SA!

2008-07-11With the latest update of MSN Photo Virus Remover (Version 3.76) we have added 2 new features.
1) When you start a scan you will be prompted to select a folder to store MSN Virus Removal Logs in.
This folder will also be used in enhancement 2).
2) We have recognised the need for backing up services before removing them. When a service is detected as belonging to an MSN Virus its registry structure will be exported and saved in a .reg file. The reg file will be stored in the same folder that was selected to save the MSN Virus Removal log in.
If for some reason MSN Photo Virus remover detects a service as belonging to a virus when really it doesn't, then you can easily restore the services structure by double clicking the reg file and pressing "yes" to the Dialog.
